I am practicing my typing so I can be quicker and more accurate.

On  Friday My (WPM) result was Higher because I focused

I am learning that numbers can be shown in many different ways

I can show in my presentation some of the different ways my number can be recorded.

My favourite way is making up a word problem.

The thing that was easy about it is Numeral and the expanded form because it was easy to draw the number and expand it. The thing that I found hard was the tally marks   and the tidy ten,the thing hard about it is that is that I could not catch up with the tally marks and The tidy ten was hard because my number was close to 97 96 and 95.

My Basic Facts Test

I am testing how quickly I can remember my Basic Facts.

I need to remember my Basic Facts because they are the knowledge I need to help me with strategies to solve Maths problems.

On Tuesday my result was 51/60

On Friday my result was 53/60

On Friday my result was higher because I  focused allot then monday.

writing poetry haiku term 2

We have been learning about Japanese poetry called Haiku.

A haiku is a poem with 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables, the 2nd line has 7 syllables and the 3rd line has 5 syllables.

The one that I found  hard was  to the one to make up a problem because I did so many there was not that many that could  think of.
